My name is Sarah, and I'm the founder of Apex Men's Coaching. I've worked with high-achieving men for almost twenty years. It's my greatest honor to hold space for men's stories, experiences, and struggles — while also equipping men with new tools to help them step fully into their masculine energy and pursue a life that feels grounded and authentic.
I'm a 1996 graduate of Drake University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and minors in communication and theater. After ten years in education, I left the classroom and began a rewarding sixteen-year career as a Sales Executive in the biotech industry, where I worked primarily alongside high-achieving men.
I spent seven years as a Specialty Sales Representative for a major drug company, promoting seven different psychiatric drugs ranging from antidepressants to antipsychotics. I then moved from specializing in psychiatry to specializing in oncology, promoting diagnostic tests to academic and community oncologists so they could create personalized treatment plans for their patients.
I'm now a Certified Men's Coach. I trained under Connor Beaton (ManTalks), Duey Freeman, LCPC, and Michael Gay, LCPC. I use an eclectic approach grounded in attachment theory and somatic work.
As a female coach for men, I rely heavily on my intuition, alongside my formal training, to support you with new tools as you navigate relationships, life transitions, and your career. In our sessions, we'll unpack what's weighing on you at a pace that feels comfortable and safe. I'll help you understand your past, and how it impacts who you are today. You'll gain emotional fluency, grow in self-confidence, and achieve your relationship goals — feeling seen, heard, and understood while being gently equipped with tools to heal past wounds and experience real growth.
This isn't therapy. It's transformation.
At Apex Men's Coaching, we believe real transformation doesn't happen by thinking your way out of a problem — it happens when you reconnect with your body, your emotions, and your truth. Our coaching method is rooted in somatic therapy, a body-centered approach that helps you move beyond overthinking, numbness, or disconnection so you can lead with grounded confidence and clarity.
Somatic coaching recognizes that your body holds your history — your stress, your strength, your resilience, and your potential. Through guided awareness, breath, movement, and emotional integration practices, we help you:
This isn't traditional talk therapy. It's an embodied process that helps you experience your strength — not just understand it.
Our work begins with presence and trust. Every session is a space where you're fully seen — without judgment, without pretense. Whether we meet in person or virtually, we focus on creating safety so you can explore what's really going on beneath the surface. We listen not just to your words, but to your tone, your posture, your breath — the subtle cues that reveal your truth.
When the body and mind are aligned, change becomes natural. You stop forcing progress and start embodying it. Clients report deeper self-awareness, healthier relationships, and a renewed sense of direction — not because they were told what to do, but because they learned to trust themselves again.
Coach Sarah has helped so many men transform their lives.
In my sessions with Sarah, the a-ha moment I had was when I realized my anger wasn't really about my wife — it was about an old story I'd been carrying since I was nine years old. I made more progress with Sarah in three months than I did in two years of therapy.
I felt surprisingly comfortable talking with Sarah about things I'd never said out loud to anyone — including my own therapist. Her vibe is warm and grounded, but also direct. She's not going to let you stay stuck. That's exactly what I needed.
My self-confidence improved when I realized that my needs in my marriage actually mattered. Sarah helped me find my voice. As a result, I've been able to have conversations with my wife where I express what I need clearly — without the fight that used to follow.
I began to understand myself better when I learned how much of my reaction in stressful moments was coming from my nervous system, not my thinking. Sarah gave me tools I use every single day. I'm calmer with my kids, more present with my wife, and finally sleeping through the night.
I've done therapy and I've done coaching — nothing touched this. Sarah's approach is patient but it's not soft. She'll sit with you in the hard stuff, then hand you a tool you can use that same week. I became the man I kept saying I wanted to be.
Sarah supported me in all the ways I needed — without the hype or the ego. She helped me reconnect to my strength and clarity. The investment paid off in my marriage, my work, and how I show up for myself.
